Not in SoCal, I know, but I have heard horror stories about people getting busted for sound there. You can buy a sound level (SPL) meter from Radio Shack for less than a hundred bucks. I wonder why the crack "street racing team" doesn't have one of those in their super-duper tool kit? I have no idea how you can get an SPL test that would satisfy the police- it would have to be some kind of certified facility, I assume. -John P : Hi, I got pulled over this morning and the officer called in the sheriff's 'street racing' team to go over my car. Luckily they were cool and only gave me a fixit for the exhaust, just complaining about the other visible mods. Anyway, does anyone know where I can go to test and get proof that my exhaust (Hiper) meets the California 95dB(A) standard? : Thanks! Rob
